A Director is responsible for one or more departments. A Director participates in strategic planning through the development and implementation of organizational goals. A Director is accountable for the outcomes associated with the strategic pillars of growth, quality, service, people and community. Is actively engaged and models the skills and behaviors of the 9 Studer Principles leading to an outcome of organizational excellence. A Director develops department goals in support of organizational goals. A Director reports to an Administrative Director or a member of senior leadership. Is an active advocate of Blessing Health System in the community.
This position is responsible for the overall coordination of the Volunteer and Chaplaincy Programs within Blessing Hospital. The director is responsible for the selection, orientation, and evaluation process of the volunteers. The director works in collaboration with the management team to use volunteer resources to achieve our mission and goals.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services. ICARE standards must be demonstrated. Adherence to Code of Conduct and other policies is required.
•BS/BA degree. A minimum of 2 years relevant management experience.
•License/Certifications/Special Requirements: •Certified Administrator of Volunteer Services preferred
